Why I Hate Bad Writers.

No, that's not a photoshop. And yes, he did.

The article's been pulled, and every ethnic / religious / political group from New York to Chinatown are up in arms.

If this offends you, just keep in mind that our Constitution protects this.

Remember folks, freedom isn't free.

Fergie needs to stop making "music".

Not necessarily because it's horrible (which, believe me, it is) but because THE HOOKS ARE SO GAWDDAMN CATCHY AND I CAN'T NOT LISTEN TO THEM.

I mean, come on. "So delicious!"? "Flawsay flawsay"? Those are gold. I think I use them almost daily.

My hate automatically becomes invalid when people catch me quipping "SO DELICIOUS" for no reason.

If you need me, I'll be up in the gym. You know...just working on my fitness.

I Love Classic Rock v.1

I really have nothing against Gym Class Heroes.

TV on the Radio are superior in every way (in terms of hipster-friendly music made by black guys incorporating sounds of the "indie" "rock" persuasion), but Gym Class Heroes aren't bad.

Damn shame they're signed to Decaydance, buy I can't knock Pete Wentz's hustle either (even though he is a douchenozzle).

BUT

Why would GCH lead off their mall-indie-hop explosion into the mainstream with that song?

Couldn't they have led off with a single that THEY wrote, with a chorus that they DIDN'T rip off from one of the most underrated / overlooked British rock bands of the 70s?

I mean, sampling isn't new, and the infamous Puff Daddy / Sting co-opt back in like '96 is still one of my favorite songs ever, but I just take offense to the fact that these guys don't take more pride in their work and lead with a completely original song.

It's your lead fucking single (not counting their pre-major label days, you elitists out there) - put out something that's 100% yours.

She's a hell of a girlfriend, actually.

I Promise I'll Eventually Stop...

...but for now, I can't help myself.

Lily Allen hosted SNL last weekend.

However, much to my dismay, Nazi Broadcasting Company decided to purge Youtube of every video of her performance. Which wouldn't bother me if they'd just put it up on their own SNL website, but they're apparently averse to site traffic generated by compelling content.

So here's a rad consolation prize: the brand-new, terrifyingly beautiful video for "Alfie".

Wish I knew who directed the video, but whoever it was obviously drew inspiration from Looney Tunes and previous sexual trauma induced by scary puppets.
